We’re seeking an Accounting Project Coordinator to assist with construction draws and related accounting tasks while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in financial processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy in all draw requests, invoicing, and financial documentation.

Monitor construction costs, including draws, change orders, and material purchases, ensuring accurate cost analysis.

Prepare and submit construction draws to lenders, including AIA G702-703 forms, lien releases, invoices, and change orders at least five (5) days before draw meetings.

Schedule and coordinate draw meetings with lenders, owners, and owner representatives; establish a draw meeting schedule at project initiation.

Manage pre-lien filings for all assigned projects.

Coordinate and file "Notice of Completion" for each project in collaboration with Project Managers.

Organize and maintain project binders, including:

Prime contract

Notice to Proceed

Subcontracts and related change orders

Reallocations and additional change orders
-
Notice of Completion

Review subcontractor insurance information in the American Contractors accounting system, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Analyze and review all invoicing before each draw submission.

Ensure subcontractors comply with prevailing wage requirements, verifying Certified Payrolls, checking rates and dates, and ensuring accurate payroll documentation.
Ideal Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction accounting or project coordination.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling programs.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong ability to prioritize and handle conflicting demands efficiently.
