Position Summary
As the Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Portfolio Management team with various tasks involved in the implementation of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to track risks, action items, issues, dependencies, and key decisions, and work closely with the project manager to ensure a seamless and efficient project delivery process. Your input and problem-solving skills will be critical in ensuring an excellent business partner experience from a solutions, timing, and accuracy perspective. While working on tasks and activities, you can expect some supervision and guidance from your team. As a valuable team player, your contribution will be instrumental in achieving project success.
About The Team
This role will support the Retail Technology Project Managment Team.
The Retail Technology Project Management team collaborates with business units throughout the Clayton Homes organization to modernize and maintain the hardware, software, and related processes that allow Clayton’s Home Sales Centers to continuously improve the Customer Experience.
Projects will range in scope from support/operational projects and small, rapid-delivery initiatives, to complex, long-term projects that elevate the effectiveness of the entire enterprise.
The Retail Technology Project Management team also works in unison with training and support teams to facilitate comprehensive program management around technologies and processes that are used throughout the Clayton Technology ecosystem.

Primary Qualifications
Exposure to project management and group facilitation
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems to achieve goals.
0-2 years of experience managing technical projects, with a conceptual understanding of project planning, delivery coordination, and risk management.
Ability to work closely with business and technology delivery teams to ensure small projects are delivered with quality, on-time, and within budget constraints.
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related discipline, or equivalent technical and business experience
Desired Skills
Familiarity with Agile Methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with a proven ability to consistently meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Skilled in managing documentation and proficient in the use of a variety of project management tools to effectively plan, execute, and monitor project progress.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision, even under pressure, to ensure the quality of project deliverables.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Zoom, Teams, and other office productivity tools, with the ability to use these tools to effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
Active Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, or a strong desire to sit for the certification and a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
