SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises student workers as necessary.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Project Coordinator will manage the flow of work to and from our internal creative teams in support of undergraduate and graduate admissions, corporate partnership initiatives and other University marketing projects. The desired objective is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and meet the desired quality and established standards. Projects include, but are not limited to, marketing collateral pieces, digital creative, radio/TV spots and on-campus event promotion. In addition to project managing the creative process for enrollment divisions and other University departments, this position will work closely with the content, editorial and creative members of the marketing and communications team to successfully execute projects.

A project coordinator for the Marketing and Communications office should have strong organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for effective collaboration with team members and campus stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and managing project activities under the direction of the AVP of Marketing and Communications.
  • Act as the liaison for all University departments (e.g. President's Office, Student Life, etc.) to manage and execute incoming project requests.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute relevant materials to team members.
  • Manage and update project schedules and deadlines using project management tools; tracking project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Manage multiple creative projects concurrently with a keen attention to detail.
  • Provide project updates to key stakeholders in an organized and consistent fashion.
  • Assist with coordinating and maintaining the appropriate paperwork, purchase orders, invoices and marketing budgets as it pertains to university policy.
  • Interact with outside vendors and sales personnel.
  • Attend professional development training as required.
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the University.
  • Ensure compliance with Moravian University policies and project management best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in a marketing/creative role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple marketing/creative projects across a variety of channels/vehicles, with budgets, and deadline driven timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written and the ability to build strong and collaborative cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience managing external vendor resources to deliver efficient output and results.
  • Proven attention to detail skills and organizational skills.
  • MS Office and Adobe InDesign required. Experience using project management software (e.g, Teamwork, Basecamp, Asana) is a plus.
  • Capable of working with sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other campus locations as needed.
  • Willingness to work a flexible and extended schedule including weekends and evenings as needed for university events, filming, etc.
