RMF Engineering, a National Engineering firm, is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to work in tandem with technical staff for various engineering projects in higher education, healthcare, and government markets across the country.
A successful Project Coordinator will be an independent thinker with strong organizational skills to manage a diverse set of tasks and priorities; establish a reliable, consistent workflow for ongoing programs; proactively take initiative; and anticipate needs. This candidate will interface with internal team members and external clients. Strong interpersonal skills are required.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Support the activities of the Project Manager by helping to manage daily tasks and overall workflow.
- Ensure that projects are moving smoothly and on time.
- Meeting facilitation: manage the flow of the meeting, take minutes, and manage action items.
- Document control, ensuring materials and information are organized and ready.
- SharePoint creation.
- Photography on job sites.
- Client relations: establish rapport and maintain open and regular communication with the client and/or subcontractors.
- Coordinate meetings and site visit logistics between client and engineering team.
- Managing schedules of the project and project team.
- Maintain a database of commonly used assets.
- Assist with development and execution of internal and external presentations and reports including graphics and data visualization.
- Assist with budget monitoring and reporting.
- Work with internal support services (Accounting, Marketing, Construction Administration Services) to complete project contracts, budget, invoices, materials, etc.
- Assist with the management of sub-consultants.
(Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually. RMF considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.)
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- 2- or 4-year degree from an accredited college or university, trade school, community college or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of business office administration or construction administration experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present materials in a comprehensive manner to non-technical clients.
- Strong skillset with Microsoft suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A desire to learn about RMF’s engineering approaches.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in the areas of architecture, engineering technology, construction, business management, communications, IT, environmental science.
- Prior project management experience.
- Understanding and knowledge of SharePoint and web design principles.
- Experience in the A/E/C industry.
- Graphic design experience, i.e., Adobe Creative Cloud.
