We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Specialty Services team, in our Chicago facility.
In this role you will work Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

What you will be doing:
The Specialty Services team handles Rockfon’s specialty ceiling solutions including custom products and applications. In this role, the team member will be responsible for conducting project take offs, creating cost and budge estimates for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented and have experience in estimating.
What you bring:
3-7 years of Project Coordinator experience
Participating in project meetings
Request to Quote (RTQ) meetings
Pre-Production meetings
Comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, and the appropriate applications
Reviewing Construction Documents, Specifications, Reflected Ceiling Plans and Ceiling Details and provide the appropriate Rockfon system for the project.
Creating take-offs in PlanSwift or other commercial estimating software
Forecasting project costs and delivering pricing to customers, sales representatives, and specialty agents via quotations
Prepare quotations in SAP business software.
Detailed quote preparation including notes outlining where are solution deviates from the specification.
Initiating shop drawings with Application Designers and review of drawings for accuracy and adherence to project requirements
Point of contact for project communications, request for quotes, drawings, orders, production status with internal and external stakeholders
Reviewing orders and prepare necessary paperwork for order conversion.
Handling multiple projects at all stages of the process
Engaging fellow Rockfon team members to learn about all of the product offerings and understand their application.
Working with management on developing and facilitating strategic initiatives for moving the business forward
Communicating market info including pricing to internal resources - pricing and engineering
Key KPIs are average Quote turnaround time and Quote service level (On-time Completion %)
Effective relationships with all stakeholders
Accurate logging of quote requests
Accurate quotations with timely responses to customers
