Full Job Description

MFCC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of multifamily and commercial construction projects. This role will involve coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring project documentation is accurate and accessible. The Project Coordinator will act as a liaison between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain seamless communication and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time project execution.
  • Facilitate change order and prime contract administration in Procore.
  • Serve as a liaison between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project progress and address any concerns to keep projects on schedule.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues as needed.
  • Assist in procurement activities, coordinating with vendors and managing project materials.
  • Develop detailed project plans and reports to support project execution.
  • Monitor job site safety compliance and contribute to maintaining high safety standards.
  • Review construction project RFQs, blueprints, specifications, and budgets.
  • Research available products, alternatives, and samples as required.
  • Prepare and send BOMs (Bill of Materials) out for bid and ensure purchase orders (POs) are accurate.
  • Procure BOM items and coordinate deliveries, returns, and pickups.
  • Review invoices and resolve outstanding issues with accounting.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Communicate with new and existing customers to schedule jobs based on material availability.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Experience in construction project coordination or a related role.
  • Familiarity with Procore, project scheduling software, and construction management tools.
  • Strong understanding of project procurement, purchase orders, and vendor management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, RFQs, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of job site safety compliance and industry regulations is a plus.
