The Property Management Division (PMD) is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities management through the capital and operating budget process. The Property Management Division falls within the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau and consists of three sections, the Facilities Section, the Fleet Section, and the Supply Section.
WSP is currently seeking a Construction Project Coordinator 2 to join the Property Management Division in Tumwater, WA.
The Facilities Section is responsible for capital planning, projects, and maintenance for all WSP buildings representing approximately 1 million square feet, including leases; purchases; maintenance and janitorial; renovations and repairs. In addition, Facilities supports over 2,200 employees and over 200 facilities statewide. This section provides maintenance for all communication towers including electrical and generator work. The Facilities Section is also responsible for the maintenance of 63 weigh stations across the state in coordination with Commercial Vehicles Division, and also maintains the WSP’s security and lock system.
This position is responsible for project management of remodels, new construction, replacement projects, Capital, and agency funded projects, using outside contractors or agency personnel. Management responsibilities for a project start with the initial planning and go throughout to the end of the warranty period. Projects are not limited to buildings. They can be fencing, paving, or overlaying of parking lots, HVAC replacement, tower erection, overseeing of local contractors and sub-contractors, etc.
Required Qualifications:
