We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resources, equipment, meetings, and information, working closely with the field Construction Project Management teams, third-party consultants, and colleagues across departments, to keep projects organized, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Process and track all purchase requisitions for the construction team
- Track project spending vs. budget and PO spend-to-date
- Review Purchase Orders for completeness and accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to improve speed and accuracy of PO completion
- Maintain project files and reporting in SharePoint
- Coordinate OFCI equipment suppliers and project management teams
- Create closeout reports
- Assist PMs with monthly accruals and AP with reconciliation
- Manage inventory in Yardi from ordering to commissioning
- Work with vendors regarding invoicing
- Manage on-hand inventory while making sure CyrusOne honors MSAs
- Validate proposals against the MSAs
- Process MSA Project Amendments
- Work closely with other team members (Operations, Procurement, Accounting, Finance, Legal)
Qualifications:
Required:
- Superior attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to identify potential problems before they become one
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred:
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Experience with Yardi accounting software is a plus
- Knowledge of general accounting principles a plus
- Background in projects involving the following:
- Data center construction
- Electrical systems installation
- Mechanical systems installation
- Overall critical facility knowledge
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree or Equivalent Experience
