About
3FN Faith Foster Families Network (3FN's) mission is to sustain a faith collaborative that provides resources, well-being and safety for families and children impacted by the child welfare system. Our Network's members are in areas and serve residents primarily in SPAs 6 and 8, areas with substantial health and income disparities that lack enough foster care resources. 3FN connects the unique service lines of the network members to target four areas of focus- Education, Human Support, Tangible Resources Distribution and Recruitment.
Fiscal Sponsor – Community Partners 3FN is a project under our fiscal sponsor Community Partners who is responsible for managing 3FN grants and contract finances as per agreements, disburse funds based on approved budgets and payroll rules, offer financial reporting to 3FN admin and members, administer benefits, insurance, and HR support, and provide nonprofit management guidance.
The Community Substance Abuse Prevention Program:
3FN received funding from the Sierra Health Foundation to execute a substance abuse prevention program for the target community of foster youth and former foster youth. The premise of the program is to educate those that support foster and former youth and general community about the perils of substance use sharing techniques to help youth avoid the use of substances to cope with life’s challenges. This consists of creating presentations on substance abuse avoidance and presenting to the 3FN community and the faith based community as highlighted. This includes Cultural Brokers, Resource Parents, and Fathers (Thriving Dads).
The CSAPP Project Coordinator will be responsible for program implementation, organizing, and managing the day-to-day operations of EYC - CSAPP Program, such as managing network member CSAPP program referrals, program reporting/documentation, staff/member training, community education and other support programs for foster care - vulnerable families/youth. Serves as the principal source of information on EYC – CSAPP program vision, mission, goals, and objectives. Follow and ensure implementation of 3FN policies /procedures and best practices align with the CSAPP program's day-to-day operations, including providing a smooth day-to-day flow of communications with the executive director, 3FN members, and 3FN administration when required.
The CSAPP Project Coordinator is an 11–month part-time (part-time classification – 20 hours per week) position. Hybrid position: In office 3FN location: 2 days per week TBD; Remote: 3 days per week TBD. 3FN will provide a laptop and reimbursement for personal cell phone usage.
