Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation from inception to completion.
  • Prepare preliminary take-offs and estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
  • Review and verify jobsite documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee daily project progress, including status monitoring, audits, and work-in-progress assessments.
  • Coordinate and assist cross-functional departments as needed to support project success.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between Project Managers, field personnel, and external trade partners.
  • Maintain and update the submittal register to ensure documentation is current and accessible.
  • Process, record, and distribute submittals efficiently.
  • Provide timely updates on submittal schedules and project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with commercial construction projects is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred but not required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to draft routine reports and professional correspondence.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess challenges, gather relevant data, and develop solutions that drive project success.
  • Ability to meet established goals while maintaining high standards of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Capable of taking initiative, making informed decisions, and seeking assistance when appropriate.
  • Flexible, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute effectively in group problem-solving scenarios.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle.
  • Ability to effectively utilize visual and auditory skills for job-related tasks.
  • Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.
