Morris Technology Solutions (MTS) is seeking an IT Portfolio & Project Coordinator to support an enterprise-level international pharmaceutical company. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong project coordination, portfolio management, and data analysis skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 

As an IT Portfolio & Project Coordinator, you will manage multiple projects, track portfolio performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and decision-making. If you have strong analytical skills, a coachable attitude, and technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira (or similar ticketing systems). We want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

 

Project Coordination & Portfolio Management

  • Support and manage IT project portfolios, tracking progress and reporting key milestones.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline project execution and enhance efficiency.
  • Assess and recommend technology investments, including HR tech and process automation tools.

 

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Utilize Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization tools) to analyze project data.
  • Identify trends and generate insights to inform leadership decisions.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Leadership Support
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, proposals, and data-driven insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment among internal and external stakeholders on key initiatives.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2-3 years in project coordination, project management, or a related role.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Ability to track, manage, and optimize multiple project investments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization) and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner to leadership.
  • Jira or Ticketing System Experience: Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or other project tracking tools.
  • Certifications: PMP certification is a plus but not required.
