Position Summary

This position will actively support the Commercialization Project Management Office (CommPMO), including new product initiatives, Global New Product Development process, and team members (i.e. Labels). As a liaison between multiple cross-functional teams the Project Coordinator will support and lead projects through Initiation, Planning and Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing Phases. The Project Coordinator will be an adaptable team player, able to manage routine tasks as well as periodic ad hoc requests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Independently lead and manage a wide variety of new product tasks and projects from initiation to closing, demonstrating clear direction and follow through while overseeing various cross-functional relationships.
  • Implement and execute key milestones to successfully deliver assigned tasks and projects by defining, driving, and updating project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Proactively partner with marketing to manage changes in project scope, identify potential challenges, and propose contingency plans.
  • Effectively communicate and publish project timelines, updates, and key summaries to all stakeholders in a clear fashion as the project evolves.
  • Take an active role in removing risks, obstacles and barriers impacting the project team. When necessary, escalate these items to the appropriate parties and management to meet project milestones.
  • Lead cross-functional, agenda-driven project kick-off meetings and conduct timely follow-ups, as needed.
  • Document and communicate agendas, minutes, action items, etc. discussed in all project meetings to the project team. 
  • Provide support for team members on projects and step in to temporarily assist all PMO functions.
  • Document and maintain project files in SharePoint, Teams, Asana and other document repositories.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.

Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)

  • Associates Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of project management or related experience.   
  • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and handle sensitive information tactfully.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, both recurrent and ad hoc.
  • Aptitude for accurately summarizing data, and drafting clear and concise status reports.
  • Experience leading and directing teams and meetings.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.                                                                          

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • 4 years of project management or related experience.                                                                                                                                                                   
  • Professional experience in network marketing or health and wellness industry.
  • Experience tracking project tasks, deadlines, and creating and communicating status reports.
  • Experience with consumer product launches.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams and Asana.
