Unit Description

Catawba Indian Nation Gaming Authority exercises INDIAN PREFERENCE

Native American Indian preference shall apply to this position pursuant to the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (24 U.S.C. 450, et seq.), 25 CFR 271.44 and other relevant laws (Title 25, U.S. code, Section 472 & 473).

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and project support. 
  • Facilitate reporting on projects, tracking change orders, and application for payments 
  • Set up and update new project templates and information, timelines, and weekly reports 
  • Ensure all client regulations, approvals, reports, and compliance are up to date with each project 
  • Assist in coordinating approvals and checklists with each project 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, business, or a related field 
  • Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills 
  • Experience with project management budget management and planning 
  • Adept at using computer and project management applications including Microsoft Office Suite 
  • An understanding of basic accounting practices
