CLASSIFICATION:                        NON-EXEMPT

STATUS:                                        FULL-TIME

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Project Coordinator will support the production, engineering, and project management team by overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating the schedule, budget, and ensuring resource availability and project deadlines are met.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Prepare and maintain project management documents, such as travelers, project plans, project status reports, as directed by the Program Manager
  • Acting as a liaison between project managers, engineers, production, and other departments making sure parts are ordered for jobs on time, costs are documented to stay on budget
  • Support the program management department in identifying and communicating risks
  • Assign tasks and controlling schedules
  • Communicate the project's progress to team members and other stakeholders
  • Organizing and attending stakeholder meetings
  • Document processes and assist in process improvement
  • Performs other duties as necessary and/or required

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • High school diploma 
  • 2-5 years of experience performing responsibilities related to this role
  • Familiarity with basic project management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance 
  • Ability to read CAD drawings 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Ongoing BS studies in STEM program preferred
  • Familiarity with Solidworks
  • Familiarity with PDM
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
  • Ability to move about a manufacturing facility.
