Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Project Coordinator, Oncology - Epidemiology at its Detroit campus location.

Ensures that projects are executed and completed within timeframes to reach Epidemiology research objectives of enrollment of new research participants up to and including the collection physician medical clearance forms, pre-program health screener, baseline survey and informed consent. Assist with baseline research program measurements and end of program and document results of baseline testing and end of program with performance site staff.
The Research Project Coordinator for the Population Sciences Division of the Department of Oncology (Epidemiology), reports to the Program Leader of Population Studies and Disparities Research Program. In this role, the Research Project Coordinator will provide crucial support to research efforts of WSU’s National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensive cancer center. Specifically, this position supports the implementation of an exercise intervention led by the Program Leader. This position also serves as a liaison to outside stakeholders for the Department of Oncology, Division of Population Sciences, working with the Marketing and Development Departments, outside vendors, community groups and research collaborators from other institutions. This position will provide direct support of research projects (ex: coordination of grant submissions, development, and analysis of demographic surveys) and may be partially supported by extramural funding, commensurate with research effort.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Entry level (less that a year of job-related experience)
