Reports To: Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Regular

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour, based on relevant experience

This position is primarily an office-based position with some travel anticipated.

JOB SUMMARY The Project Coordinator is a detail-oriented and highly organized professional seeking to advance a long-term consulting career. With a strong foundation in technical expertise and exceptional written communication skills, this individual will contribute effectively to various environmental consulting projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:

  • Reviewing field inspector and resource specialist daily inspection and survey forms.

  • Synthesize and communicate permit stipulations and requirements

  • Track and organize permit processes and status

  • Assist in coordinating with subject matter experts across disciplines to ensure high quality analysis, adherence to schedules and budgets, and compliance of administrative documents

  • Managing action item trackers

  • Assist in scoping out tasks needed to complete the project and meet the client’s needs

  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, field surveys, conducting investigations, and assisting in managing subcontractors

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, data, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s and Eocene Environmental Group’s culture of safety and employee ownership

  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associated degree in environmental science, biology, business or similar

  • Excellent planning and time management skills

  • Ability to perform work duties independently or in a team setting

  • Clear communicator, highly organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, and dependable

  • Note-taking ability

  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and agency representatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical report writing experience highly desirable

  • Familiarity with typical construction, utility operations and maintenance activities

  • Ideal candidates for this work will possess a degree in biology, environmental studies, or natural resource management and can work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with ESRI GIS applications (including desktop, ArcGIS, Field Maps, Survey123, etc.)

  • Ability to interact and coordinate with state, federal, and tribal agencies in a professional manner
