We are seeking a skilled and independent Technical Project Coordinator to provide high-level administrative and operational support to our Vice President of Engineering for a key client project.

 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

 

This is a unique, part-time, temporary role designed to support our VP of Engineering at a healthcare client site. The Technical Project Coordinator will take on a blend of project management and high-end administrative responsibilities, including contract reviews, invoice reconciliation, and operational coordination. This is not a traditional project coordinator role but requires a self-starter with IT knowledge, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will bring maturity, familiarity with IT terminology, and the confidence to handle sensitive tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist the VP of Engineering with administrative and operational tasks for a healthcare client project. 

·       Review and analyze contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. 

·       Verify and process invoices, coordinating with vendors and internal teams as needed. 

·       Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure smooth execution. 

·       Act as a liaison between the VP, client stakeholders, and internal teams to facilitate communication and decision-making. 

·       Maintain organized documentation and records related to project administration. 

·       Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating to the VP only when necessary. 

·       Adapt to evolving project needs and provide recommendations for process improvements. 

 

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·       3+ years of experience in a similar client-facing technical role, IT services, or technology solutions provider.

·       Availability to start immediately and commit through August 2025 with the possibility of extension.

·       Part-time availability (20-30 hours per week), with flexibility to adjust based on project demands.

·       Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.

·       Proven experience in Technical Project Coordinator, IT administration, or a related role. 

·       Familiarity with IT concepts, infrastructure, and industry jargon healthcare IT is a plus). 

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with contracts and financial documents. 

·       Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound decisions. 

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and mature demeanor. 

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management tools

·       Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks in a virtual environment. 

·       Prior experience supporting senior leadership or handling sensitive administrative tasks is highly desirable.
